The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As the two fighters met for the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly happening.
